hi i have 3 rail layout in my garage. how would you electrify the turntable,as i cann’t find any book that shows me?. thank you Reply
Electrifying the HD turntable is difficult but has been done see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Knl-iIJEC2s its shown starting at 3mim 56sec but the whole video is well worth watching The alternative is to use a 3 rail Marklin one which comes electrified and with minor adjustments can be joined to HD track. Its best to use one with a solid third rail rather than the later pegs used as the third rail. Ebay currently has a modern one that you can look at http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTgzWDM1MA==/$(KGrHqZ,!g4E6ZGhubCIBOous6z2qw~~60_12.JPG There is a vintage one but this is not electrified http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Marklin-HO-410-NG-Turntable-/380434785581?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item5893ae252d#ht_483wt_2254 I hope that helps Reply
